Hey guys, last month i got home to find that my car had dumped a pile of oil from around my oil cooler coating that whole area of the engine bay, I washed it all down and changed the filters and drove it an continualy checked it. No more leak so i assumed there was a leak coming from one of the filters. Tho tonight i emerge out of my car after getting home to find it was done it again, now after having a look there apears to be no leak from any of the filters.

My question to you guys is have you ever heard of an intermittant leak from the oil cooler itself, is there any pressure relief valves on it that would cause this?

While driving oil pressure has stayed constant and correct.

The housing isnt cracked by chance is it? Once warm the crack closes up then when cold it opens up allowing oil out. Are you able to post a photo of the area?

:P solved my own question, this is what happens after long day at work and looking at things when dark. Coming out of dipstick due to my pcv hose being kinked.
