Hi all. Went with a bloke from work to have a look at a patrol he's interested in buying. It's a 93 gq turbo diesel 4.2. All suspension bushes have been done recently. New 2" lift winch duel batteries and a few other goodies. It needs a new head but they only want 5 k for it so for a td 4.2 it could be a pretty good investment. Body is a bit rough but no rust and other than the head could everything seemed good EXCEPT a clunk when putting foot on and off the throttle. I jumped underneath and there was a bit of play in the front drive shaft from transfer case to front diff. Would that be likely cause, if so is it a big deal and does this sound Like a worthwhile investment. Opinions would be greatly appreciated.
