Hi Guys,

I have just finished building my GQ and was under the back of the 4wd changing the diff oil and I noticed on the top of the diff housing there is a metal bracket attached to a spring going to something that looks like a slave cylinder with some brake lines running off it. I must have an earlier
version of the manual because it does not show this does anyone know what it does thanks.

Regards Bob

Brake Proportioning valve. As load is added to the rear of the car it increases the flow to the rear brakes making them work better with the extra load.
