Hi Folks,
newbie on the block, came to nissans by accident, looking for something to tow a tractor. Bought a couple of pajeros then a landy then the mq I currently have (sd33 naturally asperated at the moment),none of which ended up with the capability to tow the tractor so I've got a mitsi 6 ton truck as well. don't tow anything with that, just put the tractor up on the back..........problem went away.
I decided to keep the mq as being the least likely to cark it when things get tough. I've got an 8000lb mechanical winch set behind the roo bar driven off of a pto on the g'box (useful for skull dragging the tractor out of the mud...twice so far. It's a work in progress, rust etc, hope to fit a turbo to it in due course, ...got one, just haven't had time to fit it yet.
Incidentally Old Grumpy comes from my wife!
Regards,
Rob.
