Hey mate

Not sure if you posted up an intro (something we ask for - no harm done though, but if you could slip over to the introductions section and tell us a bit about your rig and yourself, you'll find you get a better response rate as people know who they're chatting with) - that all said, welcome aboard.

I think the pipe you are referring to is the balance pipe from the airbox to the condenser/converter unit ... others on here who know all about the technical side of it, bit probably best to see a licensed LPG specialist - where are you based, as we night be able to recommend someone in your area!!

Cheers

You can mate, The pipe your referring to is a balance pipe (normally a piece of robber hose) that runs from the snorkel ducking under the bonnet to the gas converter to equalize the pressure between the too.

Extra air pressure is created by the forced air coming in through the snorkel which effects the signal going to the gas converter which causes the gas to lean out at low speeds & in some cases at cruse as well & by adding the balance pipe normally corrects the problem by equalizing the pressure again.

Some ppl just turn the snorkel head to face towards the back instead of forwards & this also will in most cases correct the problem with the converter signal.

So really the choice is yours but the answer to your question is yes you can run a snorkel on an LPG engine but different gas systems can be effected in different ways so seek some advice from a LPG specialist for some more tips & info on your particular setup.
