I thank the people who work behind the scenes of this website.

I just purchased a 2007 Y61 3.0 turbo diesel for work which involves towing, carrying tools for property maintenance and hopefully some 4x4 experience in the future.

As I am new to a 4x4 I find the whole experience a little challenging but I will perceiver as I think the rewards are there.

I don't intend to service the vehicle but I would like to carry out some simple maintenance jobs and therefore I need to buy a service manual. Any suggestions that won't break the bank (and get my wife upset)??

Welcome to the forum mate. I brought the Gregory's servicing manual, it's a good start but all the information can be augmented (and put in plain english) by heaps of posts in this forum. Good luck mate...
