fan belt

I'm replacing the fan belt on my zd30. Only thing is I can't get it on. It gets so close, I just need a few extra mm to slip it on...

Any tricks to getting it on easily?

i dont know what the motor looks like but these newer cars have a belt tentioner pully (aka idler pully) that you tighted with a ratchet and it mooves closer to put the fanbelt on, i learnt the hard way in my hiace now i have a nice scar on my pinky

Was it an aftermarket one? ZD30's only like guanines...

Especially for: belts, filters, hoses, pulleys etc.
