Corn lamp relay GU 99

Doing a bit wiring work and noticed this relay, labelled “Corn Lamp”, in the relay box turns on when I turn the parking light on, what exactly does it do?? I was hoping to use it to drive some other lights..If it can be done that is and if I can manage to get the base off.....corn lamp, what an odd name...

Well i have used this relay to drive some extra parking lights as i dont have corner lights, or they are not connected as nothing happened when i took the relay out.....or maybe the fuse on them is blown i forgot to check that.

i think the conring lamps are in the park lights they have a brake tail bulb and get 4 times brighter when turning
