Wiring boost and EGT gauge Help

Hey guys,

I know nothing of electronics in cars so thought ide ask some help before i stuff things up.

I have bought a prosport electronic boost gauge and an Auber EGT gauge.

Need some help wiring both.

Boost gauge comes with simple instructions to wire:

Red- 12v accessory power (also run to sender)
Black- ground
White- 12v accessory power
Orange- headlight switch
Green- boost sender (connects to white wire from sender)

Seems easy enough, just need to know where I can tap the power from without stuffing something else up.

Same gos with the Auber. Do I just need to add two wires coming off another 12v power line or whats the go.


Any help would be great.

Just take it from your cigarette lighter, tthat's turns on with the ignition. You can solder the red and white wire together then solder them to your red lead going to the cigarette lighter then run a wire to your sender from there. Earth can be attached to the car body. The orange can also be attached to the assesories wire but will make the light always on but that's how mine is set up.

If you are not confident then take it to an auto elec. Nothing worse and more dangerous than wiring not done properly. It will forever give you problems and could even catch fire.
