Diesel fuel price usa

Just noticed the price of diesel in NewYork courtesy of hurricane Sandy.. $4.29us.
ATM I think I'll pay $1.44 AU. bear in mind these were the prices we were paying
when oil was $1.50 us a barrel,, A barrel of crude is only around $90-$100 atm
someones getting rich, and it ain't me

Yeah realise its a gal. thats still $1.08 a litre ,

Yeah its one of the easiest fuels to refine from crude oil yet we pay a premium for it. The good thing about any fuel over there is it generally %^its on the quality of fuel over here.

Diesel was more expensive than regular and premium unleaded in California just a couple of weeks ago.......makes me feel just a little bit better that others are paying more for Diesel as well.

Thats 4.29 a gallon to remember which is just over 4 litres 4.5L for the Imperial gallon. 3.79L for the US liquid gallon. US dry gallon is 4.40L. Sounds like splitting hairs, but people don`t realise that the US have a different gallon to us.
