I know nothing about V8's sorry, but hasn't it only been Holdens & Ford's for decades. Every time someone else ran they won so they made it a Holden vs Ford race?

I stand to be corrected. I'm also prepared to be a fan in 2013.

Whats interesting its Nissan having to reduce engine capacity to meet the formula.

I believe its a VK56DE, being reduce to 5 litre to give the 2 valve turnip farmers a chance, pfft as if.

They're all 5 litres in the class, and all the same car with different sheet metal so go Hordan! Whoever wins is a better race team, nothing to do with the badge on them.

What ?, you don’t want to see quad cam 4 valve hand it to the 2 valve tractor engines ?

Thats the whole point its all on par but the engine, obviously the engines don’t really reflect road going donks, but its about engineering.

All a bit of fun and yes the best team will win, hopefully with a Nissan badge on it.

I don't really mind who wins but they all have to reduce their capacity... I'm sure the Holden teams would like to be racing with an engine based on the latest 6.2 litre, plenty of power available in those!!!

Pity it its not being driven by Jim Richards, would love to hear him call the crowd a pack of assholes again after winning another Bathurst in a Nissan.
