I have just purchased a '94 LWB Nissan Patrol Turbo 153000 km to tow a Noelex 25 Trailer Yacht. The suspension seams a bit spongy to me. I took it for a trial tow and it handled fine. Is this a characteristic having a long suspension for climing over rocks when off road or dodgy shocks. The vehicle as far as I know has never been off the tarmac. If anyone can give me any advice I would be greatful.

Hi Alan and welcome plenty of great peope here and heaps of info as well;
jump in anytime and enjoy.

It may have STD coils and shocks in it.
Might need an up grade

Talk to your suspension guy if you only want to tow

Hi Alan - welcome to the forum. Can you define spongy? Does it feel like it has long travel or does it feel like it sags and "bottoms" out? Enjoy the forum.
Also - what is the weight you are towing? Does the rear sag when you hitch it up?
