Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone knows if the radio system out of a 2011 GU will plug straight into a 2006 GU and work?

I'll take a punt and say no, didn't 2011 have sat nav etc, if just radio/cassette you might have a chance. Yendor is your man for this one,

Thanks threedogs, i managed to find a pic of a wiring plug from the 2011 6 stack CD with bluetooth etc and the plugs are different anyway. (bugger)
Not to worry i will look around ;-)

i have a new model radio in my 07 gotta change the plug i doesnt fit properly but you can dress the sides and it looks good

Any chance of a pic..... Given the NSW Gov has upped the Fines for using mobiles while driving, I am keen to install one with blue tooth...

I just bought a radio from china, dvd, bluetooth, reversing camera & GPS in one unit, works really well

Get a headunit from supercheap/autobarn, where ever really, and install that. You can put a storage tray in to fill in the hole, or have your UHF under it. Unless you are wanting to keep the factory look.
I put 1 in my sisters car on the weekend, $220 for the headunit and a set of speakers. Headunit has bluetooth ipod mp3 etc. everything except reverse camera and DVD/GPS
