Hi Guys,
As per the title, the original boot had a nick in it, I had a spare boot for panhard rod, so figured i'd put that on, only to discover (after removing the old one) the original is vulcanised to the tie rod end .
I can't find any information on boots to suit these heavy duty versions, I'm guessing that since there is nowhere to actually attach a new one that some sort of fairly rigid, self supporting type of boot is needed.

For the time being I slipped a bit of pushbike inner tube over it with a hole for the grease nipple, seems to cover the important bits and keep the grease in ok, but its stopgap measure, I doubt it will last more than a few months.

Does anyone know what type of boot should be fitted to these when the original boot has died?
Cheers, SBD
