Hi, first time post to do a quick intro. I've been a longtime fan of Nissan starting with a Datsun 1600 many many years ago. Have had 3 Patrols with the current one being a 2004 GU 4.2Tdi manual that tows a camper-trailer on our travels. Patrol is pretty standard apart from Beaudesert 3" exhaust, poly airbags, radios, drawers, cargo barrier etc.. My wife and I have both retired so not into the 'hard-core' 4WDriving stuff anymore but do enjoy getting away from the crowds to Central Aust or the Vic High Country. Have enjoyed reading many of the posts and hope to make a few contributions myself in the near future. Cheers.

Ahh The Datto 1600 what a great car, Welcome mate must be the same era. You'll find plenty of great info here for you as well as a great bunch of people from all over the world

Welcome aboard Cappy, good to have some more 'senior' members (good to know I'm not alone).
Remember the 1600 well, but then I've had heaps of cars, Escorts, GT Cortinas - including one with a V6 GT Capri motor. But I digress, great forum - enjoy.
