So my 2.8 just stopped??

Hey all got a 98 2.8 TDI patrol, Just drove it around for a few hours looking at some tracks, Parked her up in the shed to go over a few things, Went to start it and when the ignition is switched to on, I don't get any coil/glow signals?? and it will not start, Cranks over fine but won't fire .... Da fuq?
