Hey guys, Been looking at putting a snorkel on the gq tb42 efi. As is duel fuel been reading up heaps on the whole extra air pressure debacle. Lets say mounting it backwards does the trick when I get to it.

Bought the car already missing an air box and running ya standard teenager pod filter just fine. As im looking at making good use of the snorkel those ally ebay boxes are an obvious answer but at $450 was wondering if anyone has had any luck with those cylinder toyota style filters?

Also thinking of modding up a pop flange or weak spot for the gas backfire.. Any ideas?

Gas only back fires if leads breakdown or running lean.
Gas kill cars IMO as at the price it is these days not worth putting in,
may have well run its race.

Hey mate your best bet would be to source and air box out of ZD30 or TD42T GU patrol these bolt into already existing holes in the fornt left corner of the GQ's engine bay and its a better flowing filter.
