G'day one and all,
I hope all is well with the group my name is Jeff I enjoy 4wdriving and fishing and camping with the wife and tinlids I have just purchased a 1999 GU Patrol what a car I should of bought one years ago but my trusty 1990 Patrol saw me go places where normally I would not go It's a pleasure to be a part of this group as there is plenty of knowledgeable people on here with lots of useful tips it's good to see that people are so willing to share their experiences.

Cheers mate and good advice about the tow ball we had a fatality here in Gero not that long ago when the tow ball went straight through the drivers window and killed the wife instantly very sad event that happened people need to be educated about 4wd recovery thanks mate keep safe.

Thanks for the reply I don't have any new mods for the GU she is pretty much stock standard apart from the duel battery system she hasent done any real 4wdriving the previous owner only bought the car so he could build his house on a bush propery so the car was only put in 4wd in winter when it rained which doesnt happen much in Perth so the car has been garaged pretty much all its life with the occasonal 4wd to get up the hill which is about a 1:10 up in elevation and the odd drive to Esperance for holidays I am opened to options though what would you suggest?
