it was a maxtrax demonstration i just needed a pair of maxtrax......might have helped if i owned some.
they are 33"s you can see peeking out on a nice soft sandy climb

We had a fishing comp here a few years ago and a lot of city people make the treck. Anyway this particular year a king tide was on the books for the Saturday nights.. All the locals went out telling the fisherman but a lot of them thought better and kept fishing.. This on particular breach is very shallow with a good gutter 50 mtrs out and was very popular..
About 11pm the tide changes and by 12 it was at the one guys rods.. He didn't think anything of it, went for a nap in his car...
Woke at 1am when he felt wet feet... I guess the rest is history until he returned the morning with "dude, were's my car" attitude.. All the was showing was 50mm of his roof, 20 mtrs our from where he parked it...
Funny as.. 6 cars were totaled that night..
