hey guys, i have decided to post a build thread on my 93 GQ patrol, its a tb42 engine running straight gas, gt30 Turbo (with inter-cooler), winch bull bar,
bought her a few months ago (excited cus its my first patrol and turboed pertol car) and since then have made the following mods,
5in lift kit, 12000lb winch, 33" giolanders.

Ok so after a month of fun she started to loose a little power, then had a heart attack one day and ive managed to put a hole in the first piston.. soo my first build point in this thread is my re-build task. have just pulled the engine out and apart today and i will also have some nice pics of the damage to the piston :P its nice :P

also might be doing a cleanup and maby even a paint job while ive got the girl in the shed :) will see how she goes.

Also if any1 knows of a good machining shop north of brisbane (near caboolture) that would be able to machine down and maby even supply the right size pistons. That would help heaps.

and dont forget. any ideas or hints u might have, Im all ears guys. hope yous enjoy :)

LMAO love it! That's when you know your rig is high enough! I've heard of people not being able to get their fourby out of their garage after they just put in a lift but this just cracked me up!
Looks awesome too by the way, did you make that front bar yourself?

Yeah. That will probs me my problem when I eventually build a new tray with head spotties on it. Lol
Yeah made the bar with a lol help from the old man. Can't wait to get it back out into the forest.
