Hey all,

Just introducing myself. Picked up my dads old 1991 Patrol. Thinking about doing it up a bit as a little project. Not really sure where to start.

Keen to hear any beginner's advice.

Cheers,

Mick

Welcome to the forum Mick, congrats on the new Patrol.

The first thing you need to ask yourself is what you plan on doing with it, touring or what level of 4wding you want to do.

Have a look around the forum and ask any questions mate.

Welcome Mick.

There's plenty to read and talk about on this forum. For only 25 threads, you'll be able to download the manual.

The moral of the sentence.....keep talking. lol

Take care out there.

Welcome to the forum Mick.
As AB said, let us know what sort of driving you want to do and roughly what your budget is.

Hi and welcome to Nissans Nut House Mick. Along with the advice, you might wanna try out a bit of playing in your rig first and get a feel of what you like doing, and what you might like to do more. Depends I suppose on how ready the beast is now. If you have do work to get it on road, you may want to replace standard parts with rady for play parts.
