Timbi

Hi all,
just picked up our new-to-us Diesel Patrol, and while hunting for info on floor mats, found this forum. We've had a much loved old 93 Pajero for years, but having clicked over 430,000 (not all by us!) we thought it time to update, and have just bought a 2007 Patrol.
The kids have named the Patrol 'Timbi' - a very butch name I know, but our old Paj was called Bimbi after the sheep station it came from, so they've just updated that...
We are a family of 4 who have dirt bikes and dogs that travel with us often, so we have a small home-made (by cleverer folks than us) camper trailer which can carry the bikes and the dogs, and sleep the whole lot of us.
Our 'one day' list includes Cape York and the Kimberly... but that day hasn't come yet. Meantime, we go bush, not beach - don't want rust, and camp when we can.
We learned a lot about Pajero 'traits' through owning the old thing, so hoping to short-circuit some of that learning with the Patrol by joining here! Looking forward to learning a bit from you experienced Patrol owners!
Cheers
Jen and Hayden
