I have a 91 GQ and the previous owner has buggered around with the wiring in the odometer.
It needs fixing and the issue is with the wiring. It's been pulled out of a circular (coin shaped) unit that slots in behind the odometer drive. (red wire pulled out) The unit it's pulled out from is removable so the easiest fix is getting another.
Problem is wreckers want to sell entire speedo unit complete. Anyone know where parts can be obtained (or alternate part that will do the job?)
There is no wire that I can reconnect to and the unit doesn't come apart...

Hi Mal. Post some pics of the parts you need mate and where they go.

Also... What engine do you have as believe it or not the speedo cluster was different depending on the engine.

I have one in a million pieces in a box in the shed that i used for parts so i might have the bit you need mate but i need a pic for sure.

Cheers
