took 2 months for 4WD systems to get their s**t together but i finally got and put it in yesturday.
the tolerances where a little bit out but at 9pm theres nowhere to get the thrust washer shims so i carried on regardless.
when first did the checks after the install the diff wouldnt unlock, which to me didnt really matter caz can just switch the hubs to free and go 2wd.
went down the powerline track this morning and it performed superbly. and at the end of it the auto lokka was working correctly. got home and did the checks again and it was all fine.

Wasn't a big fan of the auto lokkas, are you getting the torque wobble under full throttle at gear changes
awesome feeling. That said ended up chewing out the whole drive train, $$$$$$$$$$$gearbox, transfer case and rear diff

Love my Lokka
They are actually always locked they only unlock when you turn. I haven't noticed any major torque steer on mine

In my defence It had a 350 chev turning it, that put out 300hp
Put an air job after that and it was fine, great on roundabouts in the wet/dry

yeah the rb30's a bit smaller than yer 350 haha.
i need to start thinking about another gearbox next year anyway.
but my mate without a lokka but with the 4.2 diesel with coopers AT's was noticeably at a disadvantage
soo pleased with the results, im hoping i can get 5 years out of mine too

Rusty cant see why a lokka wouldnt last. As long as you get the tolerances right and change oils as reccommended i had mine fitted by a guy who used to do them daily unfortunatley he is no longer with us
