Oil treatments

Hey guys I have a gq td42 that has done 418000kms and is due for a oil change I have only done 1 oil change since I got it which I done the day I got it. I'm not sure how well it has been treated and was wondering if something like the nulon diesel engine treatment (oil) would do anything. I tend to use chemtech diesel power often but was curious whether or not to run the oil treatment

How did it go , use any oil ?.
which brand and weight in there now ?.

I used gulf western top dog can't remember weight but no oil used

If its not using any oil why bother with additives.
some additives have the ability to cause damage.
possibly a better idea is save the dollars for more frequent oil changes.
this would extend engine life compared to additives.
