Good luck mate.
Advice from me would be DON'T FIT caster correction bushes! You don't need any correction with a 2" lift and if you need new radius arm bushes then fit factory Nissan Rubber ones. Correction bushes are junk.

General rule of thumb is offset castor bushes are not required for a two inch lift , but you have written '' fixed '' tuesday so a little confused as to what you are '' actually '' getting done .
Apologies MudRunnerTD - same same .

The tyre power guy said one of the bushes was torn, and that is what was causing shakes over 90KMPH

tomorrow getting 50mm sping lift fitted and the guy said after he tried to fix my death wobbles the only faulty part he could find was a torn offset caster bush, so he is replacing them tomorrow as well..
if your saying "offset castor bushes are not required for a two inch lift" will it be a bad thing to have them fixed, or an I completely throwing my money away getting them done period?.. on road it drives like the worst vechile I've ever drove....

Then replace with Genuine Nissan Rubber Bushes only. No Offset bushes. At worst fit Pedders RUBBER replacement bushes NO OFFSET.

Just called the guy who is doing the work tomorrow, and he said it needs the bushes, he said patrols love positive caster, and are crap with negitive caster. he said, if tomorrow afternoon its not driving land handling like a completely different car he's only going to charge me for the 2 inch lift...

Yep and make sure he fits only a Genuine Nissan Rubber Bush. ;)
In fact! Demand it!
The torn bush may well be your trouble but putting in Nolathane offset Bush will flog out and be a waste of your money. Lets face it, you have not even done your lift yet ????? Offset Caster correction should only be considered "IF NEEDED" once a 2" lift has been fitted and a good drive has been done in the car. (2000kms at least).

LOL, the classic "Most people on forums dont know what they are talking about" line.... LMAO
All good mate, there are lots of cowboys that dont he is right ;)
We try not to dribble here (except in Night shift and general banter) lol and take advice to members pretty seriously. Consider that some of the guys here have set up their own cars and done a heap of research getting their cars right spending their money while they do it, Members research here and all over the net and discuss what did and did not work, and for that, there are lots of good blokes that know a ship load about what does and does not work on the front of a Nissan Patrol and we aint selling you anything ;)
I cant tell you Jack about a Commodore but a Nissan Patrol GQ or GU Running gear! Thats a whole other storey ;)
If he does the Caster correction it will feel really solid on the road in a straight line. Really solid. The problem may be that you will suffer from Over Steer as a result meaning you have to give it a good push of the steering wheel to turn into corners and it might feel a little vague. Take it for a really good drive mate, lots of corners. On the freeway it will drive straight and feel planted but the steering box will work a little harder into corners due to the positive caster. You will be sold on the Freeway drive alone at 90kph.
Imagine the shopping trolley wheel.
Not enough caster and the thing will be Toey and very quick to steer and steer into corners fast and tight. (Shopping trolley wheel flickering side to side uncontrollably)
To much correction and your driving around on the "Back" of your wheels. Straight as a die and planted. No Vibration but will steer like a boat! It will be heavy to steer and then take-up and oversteer.
He is right the Poly Bushes are junk. If your car already has them and they are a correction bush then i ask Why? if it has no lift? Odd! Rip them out cause Poly is Junk.
Get the lift. stay educated and make sure your happy and you will love your "New" car.

There is a heap that does and does not work on the front of a Nissan Patrol, most of it is fixable and most of the answers are in the pages of this forum. ;) You never know, even your mechanic might learn something ;) Trust me there are Plenty of Motor and Diesel Mechanics on this forum that both Contribute and Learn from the research and experiences of other members.
We are not all space cowboys ;)
