Hi guys. Long time reader, first time poster.
Driving a 91 GQ LWB which was purchesed by my parents in 92. We lived on a farm on the yorke peninsula so a short trip was 40k which I think is the main reason why it's still purging like a kitten.
As I said my parents bought it as an ex demo bus from Adelaide. A family of 6 it was a well used bus.
It put me and my 2 younger brothers threw our licenses so to say its copped a flogging is an understatement..
I inherited it just over 3 years ago from my parents. It was stock as a rock then and starting to show.
And now with a 18 month old daughter and next one due in 6 weeks I hope it can give the 3rd gen as much fun and memories as its given me..

First mod was a OME 2" lift. Then a arb winch bar, And it now has single rear windows, not sliding ones due to the frames rusting out.

On the list is a 1" body lift, sliders, rear bar with twin wheel carriers, work light and a draw system. As a welder and the father in-law a carpenter everything will be custom and I think I have some neat ideas.

Cheers

Lol.. Yea good one.. That's my 18 month old Sophia. Taken last week when mum had to pop down the shops and I was removing the side steps..
She kindly rearranged the contents of the centre console, all over the floor just after this pic.. Lol

With the ok from the forum owner I have the ok to let you know about my small backyard business.
It's nothing huge just a hobbie after my full time job.
At the moment I have my work light for the GQ, and also soon the GU.

I intend on furthering the products to sliders, tow points and little gadgets for the not so rich campers to enjoy the little luxuries in life.
So once I start building things I'll post here and you can pm me for prices.
Looking faward to doing business.

Welcome 2 the forum mate,

In regards to your small backyard business, start up a thread in the vendor section and post all your products and pics up in there rather than here in your intro thread

Cheers

As mentioned I'm not a vendor so I don't have those rights, but I have permission from AB to post about my 'product line'.

This is a stock OME 2" lift kit with a 1" body lift and rear stabilizer disconnected..
It had a good inch left in the rear tube and wasn't on the bump stop yet..

Cheers from Westy
