Clear coat on corry?

Yep another quality Ab patrol post so everyone drop what your doing and think about this...lol

The np clubhouse has rustic corry walls with surface rust lines and looking awesome!

Experimenting with oils painted in darkens the corry and brings up a spectacular Colour with the rust but you can't obviously touch it if oiled.

Soooo...

What kind of clear coat would bring the rust colours out and darken the corry that will harden but not melt in blisterring summers???
