rookie question guys, but i cant locate the vacuum booster/pump for thge clutch on my 90 Mav, can anyone tell me where it is?

im pretty sure fluid is leaking into it as im losing heaps of fluid after bleeding it properly and not finding any leaks on the master and slave cylinders...

cheers!

oh also, ive downloaded the workshop manual for it but cant find a picture of it anywhere in there? is there on ei missed?

cheers!
Kade

disregard....

just found the big black thing the master cylinders attatched to that said vac pump... hahaha

also, would fluid dripping into the footwell around the clutch area be a symptom of leaking fluid into the vac pump?

cheers,
Kade

Bering a TB42 you won't have a vac pump as such as the vacuum required to operate both your break & clutch booster is sourced via engine manifold vacuum.

Its is possible for the fluid to be coming into the cab via the clutch booster if your clutch master cylinder is leaking via the rear seal & if this is the case im afraid the news is not good, not only will the clutch master cylinder need replacing, your clutch booster will probably need replacing as well cos if fluid is getting past the diaphragm then chances are it fubared as well. At the very least you will need to remove it & taken into a break & clutch specialist for a clean out & testing.
