Everything was working fine, did a 5000K oil change & filter now take car for drive and oil warning light come on after oil warms up but 10 mins yet oil presure gauge shows oil presure is fine sits on 3 on gauge at idle and just over 4 at 2500 rpm
checked all connections etc seems ok.

looking at wiring diagram oil switch gets its power from the oil presure sender switch?

Did you wash down the engine? if so you more then likely have water in the sender for the oil pressure light.

Emm I always degrease after oil filter change , are you saying the sender switch for the light must have got water in it or the just the spade fitting? I have cleaned the connectors

If you have engine oil pressure and the light only started staying on after you you wash the engine then yes I would say you have water inside the sender.

It may dry out in the next couple of days or you may need to replace it. You could also try removing it and drying it out.

The only way to be 100% sure is to fit a mechanical oil pressure gauge and confirm oil pressure.
