Not Nissan related, but spring has sprung!!

Some of you may know this, but for those who don't
Take a cutting from your favourite tomato bush, (or someone elses) put in pot, keep very wet for a week, and whammo, new bush.

Buy a bunch of spring onions, use the leaves for salads as we do, cut the stump off about 25mm leaving the roo ts, stick it back in the ground even after a week or so in the fridge and it will grow all new leaves, in about 10 to 14 days you will be cutting new leaves to go with that nice fish you caught that day
These two have been in the fridge for a week, and in the ground for 3 days.

When you buy spinnach plants from say.. Bummings, let one plant go to seed, grab the seeds and plant next year, I have a great crop.
Buy a purple carrot, good for ya, use it, cut the top off and plant it, let it grow, let it die off, cover it with mulch and next year it will re grow and go to seed, put some stocking over the flower and you will get the seeds.
Buy your shallots now and plant out, plant pumpkin, cucumber, chili's, Pak choi,. Bush cucumber takes up less room and fruits very well.
Plant spuds in an old tyre, when it grows a bit, add another tyre, more dirt, another tyre and so on, about 4 or 5 tyres high. when the plant dies off, megga lots of spuds.
Plant peas now (WA)
Grab a packet of carrot seed and plant now, punnets are useless, go from seed and thin them, be mean with the water and don't fertilize.
Buy Beetroot punnets and plant out now.
Buy lettuce punnets and plant now.Cheers, the ferret.
