Hey guys I have upgraded my patrol to a gu 3ltr diesel. It underwent some mods within hours of purchasing it and more today ... I have a list to work through once I sell my gq tb42 ..... Fletch is giving me a hand with the things I can't do all is looking good now 1983719838
When I first got it ..... Then after the wheel n tyre change and hid headlights 1983919840
So far it has genuine steel bullbar (winch compatible)
IPF 800 driving lights
33" mud tyres
HID headlights
Soon to come is
Nads
Duel battery setup
Reverse light
3" flexi lift
Snorkel
Roof rack
HID kit for driving lights
UHF
DVD headunit
Hope I can post more updates up soon

Looks great and white, talk to Fletch as coming up that way 12th of oct if interested in front recovery points

I thought I needed a spare wheel and since the 33's don't fit and the spacers cost around $100 I thought I might make one with some reverse light mounts and some lights thanks to fletch's boss .... Here is some pics as I went

Near the hole for the wiper jet .... Then just silicon to make it water proof

Ok guys over the next 2 weeks my car is changing a little .... Here is the mods fletch and I done yesterday ...... We could have done more if my boost and daws valve were in .... Hope they come today 221772217822179221802218122182
So as the pics show we did the duel battery and aux cig plug aswell as the pyrometer and pillar pod and I gave it a service . I'm Gunna run gulf western top dog xdo ... The guy we get our oil from at work said its the same as the dello 400 only difference is aus made so I'm Gunna give it ago

Yer it's been running great and I feel alot safer I can check the exhaust temps ... Helps me sleep a little better .... It's in today for its next mood .... I'll put up some pics once I pick it up

So long time no posting to this not much has changed to my GU...... But it will soon.... Had some engine trouble n decide I'm sick of the 3ltr so it's coming out... N in goes a donor 4.2... Starting this weekend hope to have it done in a month or so... See how we go... Any input would be greatly appreciated

The head gasket gone in between cylinder n cooling...i could fix it n prob will if the head is still ok after the swap. N sell it to recoupe some cash.. The main think I think I need to find is some new engine mount brackets to weld on

So the conversion is done.. Still a few little issues I gotta iron out but it runs n drives great.. So do happy with my decision... Ill be posting up pics n a description of wat I did... Or should I make a new thread for that?
