Replacing leaf with coil.

Gday gents, I wanna convert my rear leaf springs to coil on my GU ute. I was just wondering if this is an easy task or can it create problems? And is there a kit you can buy for this conversion?

That's a bit tricky. Can't imagine it being that hard though? You should be able to get some spring hats from a wagon from the wreckers and a tower brace from Superiors will make it a pretty simple task I reckon.

What is the reason you want to go to coils? It will be a lot cheaper and just as effective to have correctly setup leaf springs.
