From what I've been told by a mate who has one, they aren't the most powerful turbo but he reckons it's the most reliable

Bugger off you lot...lol
Not the most powerful ones around but they are reliable mate.
How many km's has it done?
If you can snag the cross over pipe and elbow into the inlet manifold and the metal pipe for air filter intake to turbo then that would be a good price.

Hey mate depending on what your looking at a standard turbo can net you 150-160hp at the wheels which is pretty good over a NA one. Its only once you want to start pushing bigger numbers than this that they run out of puff.

If you are looking for better torque and power plus similar fuel economy then go for it but as its been stated you will need all the ancillary gear to make it work.

Hi all this turbo has only done 5000 since rebuild ,do not expect to much out of it as in power with this particular turbo and if i want more power its going to cost a whole more than that even with the rest of the set up fit this one ...hope fully .........................so who has the other bits, cross over pipe and elbow into the inlet manifold and the metal pipe for air filter intake to turbo

That's where it will be tricky and possibly costly.
Ideally I would be asking the guy if he needs the cross over, inlet elbow and air inlet pipe to turbo.
If he's upgrading to a bigger turbo then he may not need the bits as they won't fit on the new turbo.
I would be ringing around first to try and get the parts before buying it.
Ebay but it can be rare as hens teeth.
Try Patrolapart in Melbourne first then ring around.
Let us know how you go mate.
