For those of you on facebook there is public event called Light the way home.

It is asking you to turn on your front door light or light a candle to light the way home for the 5 soldiers that are on their way home back to their families.

I also see it as a mark of respect for their sacrifice.

If you want to join this event send me a pm on here and i will let you know some details.

The boys are touching down on aussie soil around 1230 today, leave your light on or if driving turn you lights on and help finish their journey home.

I am not a soldier or from a family of soldiers except for pop in ww 2 but after being around the local VVMC a few times and hearing them chat i have a new upmost respect for our troops and will do what i can to get the fallen home and if having a light on helps then it will be burning bright!!!!
