Well, that's gotta be somewhat frustrating.............

All the ingredients are there, but it just isn't happening.

Too much fuel, or spark at the wrong time?

Is it possible that it is being supplied LPG and petrol at once? from what you have written, you would recognise major flooding, just eliminating possible causes.

Worth checking the ignition timing?

beyond that, I've run out of ideas. :-(

Someone with more experience will be along soon, no doubt :-)

Throw some 'start ya bastard' (not too much!) down the throat of the carby and see if turns over - if it does, you've just highlighted fuel delivery as the issue. If not, then I'd be suggesting possibly plugs (might be getting spark from the coil, but not the plugs if they're wet/stuffed), rotor pin/dizzy issue, etc.

I'd concentrate on getting it to fire off just one fuel type first, so I would turn off the gas at the tank end just in case as has been mentioned above, it's getting both at once.

It's also easier to troubleshoot one fuel system instead of two.

Definitely try some SYB.

Pull your plugs, check the gap, make sure they're not fouled.

Check all your HT leads, check your dizzy.

or maybe try checking your compression on the cylinders may be contributing to the problem as well
