Hi all,
Darren is my name , I have been playing with 4wd for many years and travelled many remote parts of Australia. I have just purchased an old 93 GQ wagon with an efi tb 42. This is a project to rebuild for my son who I hope learns a lot from the experience. So far I am about to pull the tb and convert to a td42, I have a td42 in the shed in many pieces it is an old silver top will be rebuilt in a week or so if I don't bugger up anything. The wiring may be a real issue being a efi im not sure how to go about removing the ecu and getting everything to work , any help will be welcome ? I will post some pics of the rebuild as I go.
Thanks Darren

Welcome Darren - sounds like a great project for Father and Son.

You have probably thought of this - assuming the TB is sound, it might be time to sell it while it is running in the vehicle - there is a demand because of head and head gasket problems.
