Hi

A couple of issues that I need to fix at some point and would appreciated your thoughts.

I have a GU Wagon (4.5L Petrol) and when cold it stalls on LPG and yet is starts and runs okay on petrol. Once the engine has been running for 10 minutes I can swap it to gas.

Any ideas on the problem?

Another weird problem is that from time to time the Alternator and Gearbox warning lights go on, have checked both and they seem okay.

Cheers

I would take it a LPG specialist and have it tuned.

My 4.5L always starts on Petrol and then switches to LPG after a short time.

My bet is the converter is freezing up. Hence doing it when cold, once there is warm coolant running through the converter everything is fine. How old is the gas system? Maybe time for a new converter. Not an uncommon problem you have there with dodgy converter.
