light hearted banter about vehicles can occur here - GUs seem to cop it most. I have a Mav. If someone offered me a newer one with no rust and a 4.2 diesel, I'd throw loyalty out the window and take it :-)

That banter takes place against a background across the forum, usually, of respect for other forumites, and ourselves, and a degree of politeness. I didn't put all that in place, but I think it contributes to keeping us in line a bit, and makes the forum the great place it is. It goes a long way to make up for problems that might occur because the written word is so poor a way of communicating mood and feelings etc.

Anyway, back to patrols, Welcome, and go the Mighty Mavs!!!!!

Haha all in good humour, my cousin has had 3 GQs and none of them have been a Patrol. 2 Mavericks and a Safari.
