hi guy's

have slowly been fixing all the thing's to get more power out of the patrol
so im slowly getting there .
fitted new turbo flushed out intercooler changed all the gasget's on the inlet
manafold side 'i put the blanking plate to see how much difference it made
so im slowly getting much more power step by step.
im cleaning all the crap out off inletmanafold this weekend.
but have noticed since putting in planking plate that it gets up and goes
it seem's to get to 95/100 and then just stay's it's like the computer kick's
in or else. but if you lift your foot of throttle then put it back on again it
seem's to go again for alittle while . anyone got some answer for me.

THANK'S SHARKY

It sounds like you are suffering from over boost.

I would remove the EGR plate until you have a boost gauge installed.

hi yendor
i was reading through all the post's on the EGR plate and came up with lot's of good info
so as you said remove EGR plate which im in process of doing.
im going to clean out intercoller and the inlet manafold
for now and put planking plate back in aswell as catch can/daws/neddle valve later.

P.S IM ONLY AT SPRINGFIELD LAKE'S SO WILL HAVE TO CATCH UP ONE WEEKEND.

Another local, Sounds good, keep an eye on the forum meet-ups section.

We often get together, very laid-back, easy to get along with bunch of guys.

Cheers Rodney
