Been shooting for the day and on the way back to Melbourne took a little side track I know and came across this poor bloke with no winch his young boy with him and no one to help.

Nice bloke who was so grateful.

All good mate, I am no fool and practice safe recovery out in the bush or on the side of the road.

I try to spread the word as often as I can hence the sticker.

The bloke who I recovered (Simon) was a nice bloke who was really appreciative and got on the radio later and wanted to buy me a slab, I said no its all right just doing the right thing.

He wants to come out 4wding to learn some tips plus have a good time, when I came across him he was trying to stay on the high ground and slid into the deeper side which was a big no no I explained to him.

I told him about the towball being a danger and I hope it sunk in.
