has any one got a simple diagram to show a simple bloke how to make his rear light work from battery to switch to light............................

Relay packets usually have their pin IDs on the back. If not...
30 = connect via fuse to 12v +
85 = earth
86 = switch
87 = power to light (+)

With any wiring remember to place fuse on positive lead close to battery terminal as possible. :)
