Hello all. Ive been looking at buying a Patrol for the last 12 months but have a few questions first as I can now afford to buy one. Looks like a friendly forum and its the first forum I have joined. Hopefully in the coming weeks I will have acquired my new 4x4 and will have more things to chat about.

Interesting point you make about being able to afford the Patrol. I have a thirsty petrol Mav, and I can clearly remember those signs from the 70s and 80s - 'Own the car, still paying for the petrol!!'
