Horrible grinding scraping noise for the rear left

My car developed this horrible scraping grinding noise from the rear left wheel area.
And this is what i found in between the inside of the disc and the tin cover.

I had been polishing rocks

I think the problem you had was the rock and the coin in there. Try removing them and see if the noise goes away.

I removed the rock and fitted the coin in it's place.

I had the same issue the other day and couldn't figure out what was going on.

Found similar smaller rocks in there too and then saw my daughter one day picking up rocks on the property and putting them through the holes of the rims...LMAO

Try removing the metal backing plate, no stone or mud build up

Stop debris getting in but if it does then it gets stuck so murphies law at It's best!

I actually bent that guard on the GU work car...Not even sure how but it made some terrific noises going to work the next day.

I have removed all them covers off my GQ as its to hard to clean all the mud out of the discs with them on. Its easy now just get under her with a gurny and balst the rotors clean :). Plus for the extremes speeds and braking effort of the GQ it may keep them a little cooler lol

Used to get that in the front of the common whore all the time. Gravel roads at speed twice a day ....
