hey guys.
After considering selling my 1996 lwb gq 4.2e and buying a td42 gq, i have come to the conclusion, that the one i own currently is in very good condition.
I'd like to do the conversion instead and a few of the questions i have are:

1. What needs changing? is it just the motor/gearbox??
2. What do i need to do, in qld, to get it legal after conversion?
3. Best place / price i should be looking for motor/gearbox?
4. anything tricky i should know about before commiting myself to the conversion??

cheers in advance

ozz

Gearbox is fine mate to leave but will need to change bellhousing

Need a QLD'er to answer this one...

3. Best place / price i should be looking for motor/gearbox?
Wreckers, Ebay, Gum tree or find a donor car...Patrolapart in Melbourne get them all the time. Not sure about up there mate
