Hi everyone,
Today we purchased our first ever Nissan Patrol: 2010 GU 3.0 turbo diesel ST stock standard with 48,000kms. Our previous car was a Mitsubishi Delica which served us well but just doesn't tow enough. We took it on a trip around Australia and it performed brilliantly but now our van is well over 2 ton when loaded so we bit the bullet and today bought a Patrol!
A friend told us we did a silly thing because he thinks Patrols are full of problems and the motor will blow up on us so hopefully he will be proven wrong...
The DelicaClub forum has been invaluable to us and I'm looking forward to learning much from other Patrol owners.
Thanks for the forum!
Em

Took the truck on its first voyage towing our caravan, around 2 ton, car got hot going up one of the hills... *worried* ... still in new car warranty, going to call Nissan Geelong on Monday but bought the car from a dealer in Melbourne. Any advice?
When I say hot, I mean it went right to the H mark and since I was in the passenger seat, so did I!!

Hi Emm,

Have a look at this thread for some info on talking to your dealer.

Overheating-2010-GU-Patrol (http://http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/showthread.php?14281-Overheating-2010-GU-Patrol)

Start another thread as you will mainly just get hello responses in your intro thread.

Have a look at that thread and then post your question again separately.

You will get help here
