Hi guys I am a new member although I have had my GQ rb30 since new in 91. My wife has always driven it it
I also have a 2006 Hyundai Terracan diesel .
The GQ has 230,000 km up is duel fuel and has never given an ounce of trouble.
I recently asked my wife if she wanted to buy something else and she said no way , all she wanted was the Patrol tidied up a bit and a new radio.
So I am slowly going over the old girl and have just had her resprayed and new all terrians fitted.
We have travelled to many places in this car when my kids were little and I had forgotten how good the GQs go and even tho only the 3 litre skyline donk you cant seem to kill them.
I was a motor mechanic for half my working life so no probs with the mechanical side of it.
Both my boys have 100 series land cruisers so plenty of four wheel drives in this family.
I enjoy fishing and travel and have just recently retired so now have plenty of time.
Cheers Brian

Welcome mate, surely the best forum on the net. If you need it, you can get it, if you want to know it, just ask it.

Hello and welcome to you both.
sometimes thats a better option than updating. Throw a few $$$$$ at the old girl and you have a 4x4 you know which is new again.
Great bunch of people here too, Enjoy
