hey guys just fitted a turbo to my mates na td42 atm its at 10 psi i have a egt gauge and under full load hits about 350deg should i screw some fuel into it or leave it he wants abit more power but i dont want to kill it has no front mount atm.

Is the pyro post or pre turbo either way 350 is nothing.
Heres a real rough guide screw it in until the idle sits on 1000 rpm then check egt's etc

Throw a quarter of a turn in it and monitor EGT's

I'd love to turbo my td42, but with 400+ks i don't think it would handle it for to long. What do you think?

Do a compression test on it mate. If she is within spec she should be fine. Also other things like if it uses oil between services, blows and white/blue smoke, ease of starting etc. If all these are good then shouldnt be a drama.

Yeah well it doesnt use oil or blow smoke, not real sure of the compression.
