Winch selection??

When I bought my ute it came with an original pto winch bar and pto winch setup I ended up pulling it off because the bar stuck out about 2 foot and you pretty much need 2 people to even carry the winch so I was thinking maybe going electric but seeings the old girl is pretty heavy was wondering wat I should go for or
Am I Crazy and should I throw the pto winch back on??
When I was running the pto there was no stopping her pulled logs and things nearly half the size of my rig

Most PTO's will outpull an electric winch any day of the week. The downside however is the vehicle needs to be running. If do get an electric one a 12000lb should do the job nicely there are plenty of options around these days for a winch so shop around and find a good deal that has good backing from the manufacturer.
