Hi Patrol Fans,

Nige here, new Forum member from Qlds Sunshine Coast. Just wanted to say a quick hello. I drive a November '97 RX Patrol wagon with the 2.8TD. She has just over 200K on the clock. I've owned this vehicle since 2006.

I set this vehicle up just as a tourer. She has ARB Bullbar and side steps, Kaymar rear bar with spare tyre carrier, Long Ranger 149L fuel tank, Old Man Emu suspension (2" lift only), Lightforce driving lights, Dual battery and Engel 40 L fridge, Black Duck canvas seat covers, Cooper ST-Maxx tyres on ROH Track II steel wheels.

Long term I've had a pretty good run, but last year saw the requirement for a new injector pump and a rebuilt starter motor.

She is a good old bus. I am looking forward to learning and sharing here on the forum.

Cheers,
Nige

G'day and welcome to the forum. I have the 95 version of your bus with a very similar set up. I had to rebuild my motor last year after I cooked it, so if you have any questions feel free to ask cos I know the 2.8 inside and out now! Enjoy your stay!
